Boys Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Michea is in his 3rd year at Woodstock, serving as the varsity boys’ assistant. A long-time member of the Cherokee County community, he spent the last 18 years as a sports writer/editor and production manager, including 16 years with the Cherokee Ledger-News, before making the transition into the teaching field this fall as a Special Education teacher. A native of Marietta, Coach Michea graduated from Sprayberry High School, lettering in basketball and football, before going on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Kennesaw State University. Coach Michea and his wife, Carmen, have two children, Cooper, 7, and Gray, 2, and live in Woodstock. Coach Michea also is the head coach of the freshman girls volleyball team.
